Mark Sisson—author of the mega-bestseller The Primal Blueprint—unveils his groundbreaking ketogenic diet plan that resets your metabolism in 21 days so you can burn fat forever.

Mounting scientific research is confirming that eating a ketogenic diet could represent one of the greatest nutritional breakthroughs of our time—and that it might be the healthiest and most effective weight loss strategy ever. Going “keto” by eating high fat, low-to-moderate protein and low-carb foods enables you to break free from the disastrous effects of carbohydrate dependency by resetting your metabolism and promoting metabolic flexibility—where your body learns to burns fat instead of sugar for energy, even when you go off plan. Unlike many other ketogenic programs that require challenging restrictions and deprivation or offer misinformation, Mark Sisson, bestselling author of The Primal Blueprint and publisher of the #1 paleo blog, presents a unique two-step, scientifically validated approach for going keto the right way. He first reveals the real secret to rapid and sustained weight loss, which is in becoming "fat-adapted" before entering full nutritional ketosis. This process allows your body to learn to burn fat more efficiently, resulting in increased and sustained weight loss over the long-term. It takes as little as 21-days to reprogram your metabolism to burn fat for fuel, by ditching processed grains, sugars, and refined vegetable oils in favor of nutrient-dense, high fat, primal/paleo foods–and you’ll see immediate results. Next, you’ll fine-tune with Intermittent Fasting and then foray into full ketogenic eating for a further weight loss boost and improved health.

With The Keto Reset Diet, you can eat to total satisfaction by enjoying rich, high-satiety foods, and even weather occasional slip-ups. You’ll use keto as a lifelong tool to stay trim, healthy, energetic, and free from the disastrous health conditions caused by the typical American diet. With step-by-step guidance, daily meal plans and a recipe section with over 100 delicious keto-friendly recipes, this is the definitive guide to help the keto-beginner or the experienced health enthusiast understand the what, why, and how to succeed with ketogenic eating.

My first audiobook review! How does one review an audiobook? I have no idea, but I will try.

As many of you know I was paleo a couple of years back for a year then fell off the bandwagon. I have restarted it this year as it is the best diet that I have tried and I have tried them all in the last couple years. My depression and anxiety go away, and I lose weight normally among many other health benefits. My body hates carbs, so I have come to terms with that, and I know this time I am on it for life.

I was interested in keto cause it is a hot topic in the paleo community as of late. I wanted an in-depth view of it which I got from this book. I also needed to practice my hearing skills as I have an audiology appointment coming up Dec 15, 2017, and I want to beat my 80 percent I got last time. SO Not wanting to waste an audible credit on a book I may or may not understand I headed over to Scribd and started listening to The Keto Reset Diet.

Imagine my shock when I could understand every word. Yes, I had it on slo-mo sound but still. It was like my brain finally comprehended the words, and I could understand it with no problem. I almost cried for joy.

I got a lot of information on keto in this book. I had always thought you could drop to 50 grams of carbs and no suffer any ill effects. This is not the case. There are steps you need to take before actually attempting ketosis. Like getting your shit together basically. Making sure you are getting enough sleep, giving up sugar and refined carbs and other things. This surprised me as I had never thought of that before. I have started sleeping and working out on a schedule and no sugar and all of that. I hope this will be easier in Jan 2018 after I make an effort to prepare than it was last time I tried going ultra low carb. I am back to two hour long workouts so I may have to stay at 50 grams of carbs. It said if you are not active you can drop down to 20 grams. Ohh and you need to drop down to 150 grams FIRST for a while at the same time you are getting your shit together before going all the way down to 20 or 50 grams.

It also stressed the importance of learning to deal with stress and even gave some helpful advice such as mediation. I think this is where a lot of programs go wrong they fail to take into account that when people get stressed they want carbs and there needs to be another way of dealing with stress in place.

True this tells about people who want to go hardcore keto, but I feel almost anyone can get some advice out of this book.

I LOVED this book. It was easy to understand, and it was packed with information. is a news aggregation service that brings you best of world articles to you for your consumption.
